We like to think of our customers as friends that are stopping by, or calling to say hi - not random numbers or names hiding behind a screen. We know our reputation is on the line with every order we send out, and we do not take that lightly.
• Sending out "good" product isn't enough. We get the best quality, freshest flowers and plants that we can. They're the same ones we send to our own relatives and friends to enjoy, too. We want the plants and flowers to last, and not just to save ourselves from getting less-than-satisfactory phone calls. We know that when you call us to send something, it's because you want a gift that represents you, and your sentiments, for longer than the day they arrive.
• Every order that we send out for local delivery is delivered by a real person. And not any person, but someone on our staff. Flowers arrive completely arranged, ready for displaying.
• Last one: your order matters. It's not taken for granted. We know that you've made a conscious choice to shop with us, and we always want to make sure that choice is not ever a regret.

Who We Are
Wood's Floral & Gifts has been a part of the Fond du Lac community since 1916, named after the original owner, Ray E Wood. It's passed hands a few times since then, to current-day owner Jeff Smet. Wood's joined the Haentze Floral Company Family in 2022, and operates as a "Division of Haentze's". Same great staff and commitment to quality!
We are here to help you celebrate the happy occasions, sympathize with the sad ones, and get through the hard ones. From the local high school arts programs and local veterans and Relay for Life, we're proud to help support our community's organizations and work together to reach goals. We are also active participants in the Downtown Fond du Lac Partnership, working to improve our little corner of the world.
SMALL BUT MIGHTY
We don't ask you to support our small business because of our size. We prefer to stand on our own merit, and ask you to support us because of who we are, what we stand for, the connections we share, and the unique value we can provide.
We treat every order as if it is our own personal order. Our delivery team hand-delivers every piece when the item is available for local delivery, and products are packed with care when they're en route to their destination. (Really, who wants broken things? No one.)
Our website accepts orders for same-day delivery until 2 pm. We can often accommodate same-day delivery for orders if they are called in. Please call us at 920.922.6780 if you need a timed or express delivery.
We are unable to make deliveries on Sundays, with the exception of funeral service deliveries made in advance.
Delivery Fees: Local
A $9.95 fee will be added for deliveries in our local delivery area. A $13.95 fee will be added to all out of town delivers. This area includes Brownsville, Campbellsport, Eden, Eldorado, Fond du Lac, Lomira, Malone, Mt. Calvary, North Fond du Lac, Oakfield, Rosendale, St. Cloud, and Van Dyne. Wood's can be available to deliver to areas outside our standard delivery zone upon request for an additional fee. 24 hour notice is required for this service; please contact us for more information.
Wood's can also send flowers throughout the United States. Wire orders (to areas outside our delivery zone) are subject to a $20.00 handling and delivery fee. We are unable to send orders internationally; we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Please call for international orders.
Delivery fees may seem steep when compared to conventional shipping fees - unlike many of the "big box" companies or conventional shipping methods, we hand-deliver all of our arrangements. Pieces are fully designed (you may be surprised how many orders some of these companies ship in a flat box - and the recipient must arrange them!). If your recipient isn't available, we will re-deliver at a more convenient time.

We can only hand-deliver so far. We will send your order to other trusted flower shops in the area you wish delivery too.
Orders sent outside of our delivery area may not be available exactly as they are pictured. We do work hard to try and find the perfect florist to fill your order in the event this occurs. Call us at 920.922.6780 if you have any questions concerning availability or pricing.
To help assure on-time delivery during the busy holiday season, place your order at least 1 day prior to the following major holidays: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day, Valentine's Day, Easter, Administrative Professionals Week, Mother's Day, Memorial Day, Father's Day, Independence Day and Labor Day.

Damaged in transit
We pack every item as carefully as possible, but sometimes items may arrive damaged in transit. Please reach out to us as soon as the item is received to discuss options.
Because of shipping constraints, some items are only available for local delivery - too many were shipped in one piece but arrived…not in one piece.
Substitution policy : fresh flowers
On occasion, we may be unable to get the flowers shown in the piece you've chosen to send. Or if what we have to match isn't the best product, we may want to use the alternate to guarantee a good product. In that instance, we will contact you to discuss options. If we cannot get in touch with you, and the delivery date/time is becoming critical, our policy is to send an arrangement equal to the value and colors of the piece ordered. We would rather have something be delivered for your occasion than to miss it entirely because of a communication issue.
Screens vs. real life
The digital images we display have the most accurate color possible. However, due to differences in computer monitors and screens, sometimes things look different in real life. We cannot be responsible for variations in color between the actual product and your device.
Not happy with our service or product?
We want all of our customers to be completely satisfied. If that is not the case, please call or email us - we want to make it right, and we'd rather talk about it to find out what happened than to have you be frustrated that you weren't taken care of in the way you expected.

Some people are just hard to shop for. Or maybe you'd prefer that they pick something themselves. We do offer gift certificates for use in the store, and they do not expire, as well as an option for online gifting. Our gift certificates have no expiration date. Please contact us for more information about this.
Please indicate any special considerations or preferences, including colors, food or allergies we should be aware of in the "comments" section of the checkout process. If the requests incur additional costs, we will be in touch with you for how to proceed.
Balloon bouquets can be accepted at most locations. However, due to latex allergies, some deliveries can not be completed as requested. We will be in contact with you if this is a concern for your order.
We hope you love what you ordered. But we know that sometimes things just don't work out. Returns of unworn/unused merchandise are accepted with original receipt within 30 days of purchase date. Items will not be accepted for return without original tags and packaging intact. Original shipping fees are non-refundable.
Fresh flowers are non-refundable.
NOTE: We do not accept C.O.D. deliveries.
